Success for Antrim handballers at the Loughmacrory Showdown 2023
Loughmacrory hosted its 8th Annual One Wall Tournament on 1-3 September and a strong contingent of Antrim handballers across all grades made the trip to Co. Tyrone to mix it with players from across Ireland, England and the Basque Country. CLG Naomh Pól's Steven O’Neill captured the Men’s B title with an impressive win over his regular sparring partner, Killyclogher’s Jerry Keenan. This win follows his recent Men’s C title at the Irish Wallball Nationals. A fantastic season for Steven and great momentum as he vies to add the Junior B Ulster title later this month.
Naomh Éanna handballers had a great showing and returned to Glengormley with a nice collection of Silverware.

Naomh Gall siblings, Nina and Shane McBride had a great tournament with Nina winning the Girl’s 11&u and Shane taking runner-up in the boys 10&u. Special shout-out to Antrim’s newest Handball club; Erin’s Own, Cargin GAC! Brian Devlin captured the Men’s Challenger Title. We also had numerous other players competing across different grades and want to record how delighted we are to see our handballers going to such great tournaments.
